- Suggestion: Ranger-Western-Cowboy gear - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: I love to roleplay the post-apocalyptic cowboy, but I was very disappointed with the look of the only two cowboy-ish style hats, the minuteman hat (Preston Garveys) wouldnt be so bad, but I am not a fan of the one side of the brim being pinned up to the top of the hat.

Ever wonder how your hat stayed on after you fell down a mountain? Were you irrationally annoyed by the fact it defied physics? Be annoyed no longer, your hat is no longer sticky and will fall off when you take a spill!
One of the features Red Dead Redemption 2 has is the ability to lose your hat, if you are like me you love little details like this. There is just one problem, Rockstar Games didn’t go all the way in on. Your hat in Red Dead 2 normally only gets knocked off during scripted moments such as melee fights explosions etc… or if it gets shot.

What this means is you can tumble down a mountain for 36.62 seconds straight and your hat will remain firmly affixed to your concussed noggin’.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I've searched through Dry Rock Gulch and found 2 cowboy hats and 3 black cowboy hats. I want to give each of my settlers one but obviously this is not enough. The ballistic weave is an armor mod that allows improved defensive stats to certain clothing items, including outfits, clothing that can be worn under armor and a small number of hats. This crafting ability can be learned from Tinker Tom after performing certain quests for the Railroad faction. Once this skill is learned, one can upgrade any applicable clothing item at an armor workbench.
Well Non-Sticky Hats addresses that!
Your hat will now fall off when you fall over completely or if your head gets completely submerged in water!
you now can experience how difficult it is to wear a hat while being a derpy clumsy cowboy!
