Skype For Mac El Capitan Error
- First off, I'm on El Capitan 10.11.1 and Lync 14.2.1 150923 (and have previously reported on the Office 365 Community pages) and have been referred here with my problem. Unfortunately in the past week the login has stopped working for me.
- Skype for Mac was updated to version 7.13 to support the most recent release of OS X, El Capitan, and add a couple of useful new features. The Skype app for Mac now supports Mac OS X 10.11 El Capit.
Microsoft today released a new update for Skype for Mac. With the latest update, the company has added support for the latest release of OS X – that’s El Capitan. The latest update, version 7.13 brings support for the new Split View mode in El Capitan for Skype (kind of like Snap Assist on Windows 10). It is worth noting that the Mac client for Skype isn’t fully ready yet — the latest update includes a (known) bug which may slow down the app on El Capitan when a user switches to a conversation with a lot of participants. The Skype for Business on Mac client requires Mac OS X El Capitan and higher, and uses at least 100MB of disk space. We support the use of all built-in audio and video devices. External devices must be in the Skype.
